HOUSTON COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Walker County Sheriff's Office arrested two suspects who robbed a Houston County convenience store twice within the last week.
Chief Deputy G.P. Shearer of the Houston County Sheriff's Office said that the two men. Landon Murdoch, 17, and Taylor Matar, 20, were picked up in Walker County on Monday. Each man was charged with two first-degree felony aggravated assault charges.
Shearer said the two men hit the Austonio Stop store on Friday, and then robbed it again Monday at approximately 4:20 p.m. The owner of Campbell Security was in the area and saw the truck the store, and called it in while he called them.
Walker County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested the pair after they left Houston County.
