HOUSTON COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Houston County residents could soon be seeing changes to county roads.
Judge Erin Ford said the county was given $4.2 million in funding from a Hurricane Ike grant. The funding will go towards the fixing up of 10 roads that stretch over 30 miles.
"The roads are going to be re-conditioned," Ford said. "They are going to be graded, topped with rock aggregate, spread and rolled to help improve the county roads and the systems that we got here in the county."
