ZAVALLA, TX (KTRE) -

A 60-year-old Florida woman was taken to a Lufkin hospital following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of state highways 147 and 63 Wednesday afternoon.

Zavalla Police Chief Steve Drum said that Cynthia Henson was driving a Nissan Altima north on Highway 147 when she failed to yield the right of way and hit a GMC truck driven by Hall Burnanan, 54, of Huntington. When the collision occurred Burnanan was driving west on highway 63.

Drum said Henson will be ticketed for failure to yield right of way.

Henson was taken to a Lufkin hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Burnanan wasn't injured in the accident.
