Belt, Giants reportedly reach $3.6 million deal

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Former Hudson Hornet Brandon Belt and the San Francisco Giants have avoided arbitration by coming to a one-year agreement, according to the Giants' website.

The website reports they came to an agreement for $3.6 million for 2015.

Through 61 games last year, Belt hit .243 with 12 home runs and 27 RBI. His playing was limited after breaking his thumb after being hit by a pitch and then suffering a concussion later in the year.
