ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - TxDot announced plans to move traffic to the final configuration in the U.S. 59 Northbound lanes in the Redland area.
The plans for the move is set to take place this week. The exact location is at U.S 59 Northbound mainlanes at FM 2021.
Concrete paving will allow northbound motorists to move into the final main lanes of traffic. According to TxDOT, the traffic switch will provide a smooth and natural transition of traffic onto the newly constructed northbound mainlanes. The $18.8 million project began in December 2013.
