NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Another reality to the real world is taxes.

Free tax preparation services got started Friday at the Nacogdoches Library.

Stephen F. Austin State University faculty and Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honor Society volunteers are offering help to individuals and families.

“We're capable of filling out any W-2s and small 1099s, and we do have a cap,” said Jay Perryman, a Beta Alpha Psi honors accounting student. “If you make more than $52,000 a year, but we suggest you move on to a tax service, but we're totally free."

The service is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

The SFA volunteers will also be at the Nacogdoches Public Library on February 27th and 28th, March 27th and 28th, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
