JASPER COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A Jasper County family lost everything in a house fire early Thursday morning.
Jasper County Sheriff Mitchell Newman said the house was located just south of Jasper on State Highway 96 by the Double M Ranch. He said the two-story house was about 10 years old, and it belonged to Cory Gaston.
Even though the family managed to get out of the home safely, it was a total loss, Newman said.
The Jasper Fire Department and the East End, Tri Communities, Roganville, Rayburn, and Angelina River volunteer fire departments all responded to the blaze, according to Newman.
