NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Another era of history will be honored come Sunday in Nacogdoches.

The poignant drawings of a Korean War prisoner of war compiled by Charles D. Jones, master printer and director of the La Nana Creek Press, will be on display. The ceremony will feature music and special guests.

“We especially want to dedicate and invite as many Korean War veterans or families or people they know to this event because they are sort of the forgotten people and this is a wonderful body of work which combines both the drawings of this man Benjamin Comeau with the photographs of Guy Gillette who is the father of the Gillete brothers from Crockett,” said Jones master printer and director of the La Nana Creek Press.

The event will be Sunday at the Cole Art Center in Downtown Nacogdoches from 2 to 4 p.m. Live music of the 1950s will be featured.

The Community Food Drive in Lufkin is special to some because of the large amount of people it brings together from all walks of life.  "It's just like so many different people, very diverse," said volunteer, Priscilla Gonzalez. "It's just kind of cool to see all these people coming together to do one thing."
