It's time to "Cram the Coliseum," now that SFA is wrapping up conference play against one of their biggest rivals, the Northwestern State Demons.
It will be a double header and the women are in the clear. They've already clinched at least a share of the Southland Conference title
For the men, they're 15-1 and they actually have two big games ahead of them. First, NSU on Thursday and then Sam Houston on Saturday.
All three of these teams right now are on a 9-1 streak. The Jacks have clinched, at worse, a number two seed entering the SLC tournament, but a win tomorrow would give them at least a share of the regular season crown.
"We had a packed house when we were over at their [Northwestern State] place. I think it was the fifth largest crowd in their history, so it makes it fun," said men's head coach Brad Underwood. "That's what college basketball is all about. It's stirring the pride in between two different schools, two student bodies, and two communities, and coming over in good fun to watch two teams compete and play at a high level with good players. That's what this game will be about tomorrow night."
The women tip off at 6 p.m. while the men's game, which will be broadcasted on ESPN 3, will start at 8 p.m.
