NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The Precinct 4 Constable's Office in Nacogdoches is seeking the public's help in locating a burglary suspect who allegedly stole several thousand dollars worth of jewelry.
According to a press release from Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers, the burglary investigation turned up incidents of criminal trespass at deer camps that could possibly be related to the burglary.
"We're involved in seeking the public's help because investigators believe the suspect could have ties to the Rivercrest area of Angelina County, and because persons with information about the crimes can provide information through Crime Stoppers while remaining anonymous and being eligible for a reward," said Det. J.B. Smith, a spokesman for Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers.
Cameras at those camps captured images of a suspect crossing the properties and entering buildings, the press release stated. At this time, investigators do not know whether the criminal trespass suspect is involved in the burglary of a habitation case, but the crimes took place in the same area.
