LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches County Sheriff's deputies arrested at 35-year-old man Sunday after a 14-year-old girl allegedly called 911 and said that he had raped her and was in the process of sexually assaulting her 13-year-old sister.
Bruno Juan Rodriguez, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County jail on a first-degree aggravated sexual assault of a child charge. His bail has been set at $20,000.
According to the arrest affidavit, NCSO deputies responded to a disturbance call at a residence in the county. Dispatch told them that a 14-year-old girl had called and said that Rodriguez had raped her and had tried to sexually assault her sister, according to the affidavit.
Then the girl disconnected from the 911 call, saying that Rodriguez was in the living room of the home trying to rape her sister.
When the deputies arrived on the scene, they were able to located and detain Rodriguez. After the deputies interviewed those involved and reviewed the evidence, they determined that one of the girls had been sexually assaulted by Rodriguez, the affidavit stated.
