A guilty verdict has been handed down in a deadly conduct trial in Nacogdoches.

Jack Wade has been found guilty for driving a car that was used in a drive-by shooting that happened two years ago. He will serve two years in prison and pay a $1,000 fine. The incident occurred at Metro's Grocery on Shawnee Street.

There was a large crowd at the popular gathering spot the night of the crime, but no one was hurt. Wade's accomplice in the shooting was Quintin Deckerd who pleaded guilty and is serving a ten years sentence.
