NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A sure sign of spring's arrival is the Nacogdoches Farmer's Market resuming its Wednesday market to compliment Saturday's ongoing market.
Vendors resumed their mid-week schedule Wednesday.
The last of the winter turnips and greens are being replaced by spring time strawberries. The weather is also making the bees that supply "Opal Blume with honey happy.
"When you pull your frames out of the hives, you can tell by the flow of the honey, how well your bees are performing," said Opal Blume, a honey distributor. "If your queens are doing their job."
You can find honey and lots of other natural foods at the Nacogdoches Farmer's Market on Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to at least noon.
