POLK COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff's Office arrested a man and a woman after they served a felony arrest warrant at a home in the Canyon Park subdivision on Wednesday, and a search revealed methamphetamine, Hydrcodone, and a pill in a bedroom they shared with a baby.
Joshua Brice Dublin, 30, and Chelsea Aileen Parker, 21, were both booked into the Polk County jail and charged with two felony possession of a controlled substance charges. Dublin was also charged with a misdemeanor harassment charge. Parker's third charge was a felony child endangerment child.
Dublin's collective bail amount was set at $12,500, and Parker's bail amount was set at $20,000.
According to the arrest affidavit, when deputies with the Polk County Sheriff's Office went to a house in the Canyon Park subdivision to serve a child endangerment warrant, a search of the residence turned up meth, Hydrocodone, and "an unidentifiable pill."
The drugs were found in and around the duo's belongings, the affidavit stated. Dublin and Parker allegedly told deputies that the drugs didn't belong to them.
The PCSO lieutenant who obtained the warrant pointed out that the drugs were in the room where they and a baby all slept.
The deputies also learned that Dublin had an outstanding warrant for harassment.
