Sixth grade STEM students from Lufkin Middle School visited Trout Primary School Thursday morning for a science demonstration.
The students, who are a part of an accelerated math, science, and engineering program, put together physics activities to introduce advanced science to 2nd graders.
The STEM students were excited that to teach the things that they learn in class to a younger generation.
"It's really important, so they'll grow up and teach the next generation and we'll keep society running," said LMS STEM student Cade Venegas.
The activities were "Easter-themed" to make learning fun for the 2nd graders, just in time for the holidays.
