ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Angelina County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 39-year-old Pollok man Sunday night after he allegedly pointed a gun at his cousin's head.
Larry Corbett is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on a second-felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bail amount was set at $5,000.
According to an Angelina County Sheriff's Office activity report, the victim said he was in the living room of a home in the 10000 block of FM 2021 late Sunday night. He told deputies that when he went into the hall, his cousin pointed a gun at his head, the report stated.
The victim told the deputies that he ran out of the home because he was scared for his life.
The report did not indicate why Corbett allegedly pointed the gun at his cousin.
When the ACSO deputies arrived on the scene, they were told he was walking around the kitchen with a gun, the report stated. The deputies called him out, and he had a 9 mm Smith and Wesson pistol in his waistband.
