Belt injured in Giants' loss

PHOENIX, Ariz. (KTRE) - Following an injury-riddled 2014 season, former Hudson Hornet Brandon Belt found himself hurt again in just the second game of the 2015 season.

Belt went 1-for-2 with an RBI in the Giants' 7-6 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks in Phoenix Tuesday.

Belt lined out in the first inning and singled in the fourth.

According to, Belt strained his right groin and left the game in the fourth inning.
