Belt's slump continues in Giants' loss

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (KTRE) - Former Hudson Hornet Brandon Belt's slow start to the season continued in the Giants 4-1 loss to the Colorado Rockies Tuesday in San Francisco.

Batting from the cleanup position, Belt grounded out in the first, popped out in the third, grounded out in the fifth and walked in the eighth.

Through five games this season, Belt has two hits and is batting .125.

The Giants continue the series in San Francisco Wednesday at 9:15 p.m.
