TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A joint investigation by the Trinity County Sheriff's Office and the Trinity Police Department has resulted in six arrests.
"Most of the charges are the delivery of meth," said Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace.
Wallace set up the round up in which authorities set out to execute 10 felony warrant arrests.
"We've been making undercover buys throughout the county from different dealers," said Trinity Police Chief Steve Jones.
Wallace said more investigations could be pending in the warrant sweep.
One of the people arrested in the sweep was a former law enforcement officer who had worked in Trinity and Houston counties.
Wallace said those people who weren't home when authorities did the warrant sweep have a "short amount of time" to turn themselves in without further consequence.
Jones says Trinity authorities pride themselves on being transparent to the community for a reason.
"We want people to know, and we want the community to know, 'Hey, this is who we busted. Don't let your kids be around them,'" Jones said.
