A Lufkin woman is dead after an early morning traffic accident Tuesday morning in Diboll. Diboll police tell us 24-year-old Christine Langevine of Lufkin was clocked at 94 miles per hour on Highway 59, just north of the city.

She then topped a hill, lost control, and hit the median. That's when investigators say her car flipped for nearly 800 feet before coming to a stop. Langevine was pronounced dead on the scene at around 3:35 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Police are investigating to see if alcohol may have played a role in the accident.
