The public got it's first look Wednesday at the brand new Academic and Sports Medicine Center' at Stephen F. Austin.
The center, will not only serve the academic needs of SFA athletes, but also it offers an improved training area.
"We can see more kids as far as healthcare. It's a bigger facility, we can do more things especially in the rehab area. It's just a lot better environment for the treatment of injuries that our athletes do get." says SFA head trainer Sandy Miller the new forty-four hundred square foot facility replaces the old one that just had 900 square feet. Two thirds of this facility is devoted to training alone, which triples the amount of space that can be used.
