LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Earlier this month, an Angelina County grand jury indicted three of the four gang members who are accused of using a cinder block to beat a rival gang member at the Trails Apartments on Crooked Creek and then putting a gun to his head in March.
East Texas News obtained the list of grand jury indictments Friday. In all, the Angelina County jury indicted 44 people.
Among those indicted were Atiba Jermaine Nicholson Jr., 18, Xavier Dominique Shelvin, 19, and Milan Ramon White, 18, were all indicted on two counts of second-degree felony aggravated assault. Their bail amounts have each been set at $100,000.
At the time of their arrest, White was also charged with Class C misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Angelina County grand jury also indicted the five suspects in an attempted robbery of a dog seller that occurred at a home on O'Quinn Avenue.
Devante Cauley, 20, Xavious D'Quan Irvine, 20, Gervenski Jermaine Mack, 21, Quinn Jamal Trimble, 23, and Jerry Benard Williams, 27, were each indicted on a felony aggravated robbery charge. Bail was set at $250,000 each for Irvine and Mack, and it was set at $100,000 each for the other three suspects.
In addition, the grand jury indicted Timothy Shane Mitchell, 30, on an unrelated aggravated robbery charge. Mitchell is suspected of robbing a Hudson convenience show back in January.
