NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - ?
Investigators with the Nacogdoches Police Department and the FBI are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the Doches Credit Union branch located on South University Drive Monday morning.
According to a press release, the Nacogdoches Police Department received a robbery alarm from the Doches Credit Union located at 823 South University at 9:57 a.m. Not long after that, dispatch received a 911 call indicating that facility had just been robbed.
When the NPD officers arrived on scene, they learned that just before the alarm was activated, a man entered the office and approached one of the tellers. He displayed a handgun and demanded money, according to the press release.
After taking an undetermined amount of money, the suspect fled on foot, heading toward the Shawnee Street area, the press release stated.
The suspect was described as a black man between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot tall with a thin build. When he was last seen, the man was dressed in all-black clothing, and he had a white bandana or cloth covering the lower part of his face.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has been notified and responded. The case has been turned over to that agency, and any further inquiries should be directed to the FBI.
