Tenaha's Terry Ward resigns after six years with Tigers

TENAHA, TX (KTRE) -

Tenaha Athletic Director and head football coach Terry Ward has decided to resign after coaching six years with the Tigers.

Ward will now be the Athletic Director and head football coach at Harleton, a Class 2A school in Harleton, Texas.

After leading the Tigers to a state championship title in 2011, Ward made a back-to-back appearance in the state final the following 2012 season. Ward continued a tradition of excellence from there by taking the Tigers to the state semi-finals during the 2013 and 2014 seasons.
