ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Angelina County Sheriff's Office arrested a Lufkin woman after she was accused of attacking her 14-year-old sister over being too loud at night Tuesday night.
Sarah Southwood, 21, is charged with third-degree injury to a child.
According to the arrest report, Southwood was in an argument with her father because he wanted her to clean up around the house. Southwood's 14-year-old half-sister then came in the room mad because she could not sleep and she had to get up for school the next day.
According to the report, the sister threw a shoe at Southwood but missed. Southwood threw the shoe back at her, but missed too. Southwood then chased down her sister, grabbed her by the hair and pulled her to the floor and started hitting her, according to the report.
According to jail records, Southwood's bond has not yet been set.
