Police Arrest Man for Making Meth

by Ramonica R. Jones

An East Texas man is in jail, accused of making meth. It all started when police went to check out a suspicious person in Lufkin Sunday night.

They say 33-year-old Niles Frazier tried to hit an officer with his truck before he sped off.  After a chase through Lufkin, Frazier crashed into a ditch at the corner of Brady and Brossard, near Winston Park.  Officers wrestled him to the ground and arrested him.

Police found fuel, drain cleaner, other household chemicals, and glass bottles in his car, often used when cooking meth. Niles Frazier is in the Angelina County jail charged with aggravated assault, evading arrest, and manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
