Soggy Monday Starts the Week

East Texas woke up to a rainy Monday morning this week in East Texas.  Rain totals ranged between 3 and 4 inches in some areas around Lake Sam Rayburn.  The heavy rains caused some minor flooding of secondary roads and caused already swollen rivers to flood in some locations.

Polk County

Rusk County

  • South Rusk County: 1.5"

Sabine County

  • Milam: 1.3"

San Augustine County

  • San Augustine: 3.7"
  • Broaddus: 3.16"

Shelby County

  • Timpson: 2.5"
  • Arcadia: 1.8"

Trinity County

  • Apple Springs: 2.3"
