LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - There's still no sign of a driver believed to be responsible for a crash that hospitalized an Angelina County family Sunday night, May 31st.

The family was in the Buick that was eastbound on 103 and collided with the pickup truck at Farm-to-Market 842.

Police still haven't found the pickup driver who ran from the scene on foot.

Margaret Hodge, suffered injuries to her legs and midsection recently had surgery on her right shoulder, which was also injured in the crash.

"It's just been really hard. I have to have 24-hour care. I can't get up and down by myself. I can't do anything. ."

Her 15-year-old granddaughter Armani Walker is recovering from a cracked collar bone.

"My family is in in so much pain. We would just appreciate that you would just turn yourself in, because there's a lot of us out here that really are hurting,” Walker said softly. “And you're still out there walking around and we can't even do that."

Walker also suffered a chipped shoulder and other cuts and bruises. Her father's fiancée, Elizabeth Collier, who is three months pregnant, is still in CHI St. Luke's Memorial. She underwent surgery last week for a broken leg.

If you know where the Lufkin police can find the pickup driver, you're asked to call them.
