HUDSON, TX (KTRE) - In March, we told you that Hudson High School's culinary program would be getting a major upgrade this summer. That demolition is underway.
Construction began in Suzanne Ratcliff's former classroom last Thursday.
They're installing a state-of-the-art kitchen here where culinary instructor Casey Gerard will oversee the advanced culinary class. The existing kitchen next door will also receive significant upgrades.
P.T. Walters, Hudson's director of careers & technology, said they're expanding to accommodate the student growth.
Construction should be complete before classes begin September 1st.
