ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The progress of the Huntington roads that have taken residents on a bumpy ride is underway.
Tuesday, in the Angelina County Commissioner's Court meeting, the reconstruction and improvement of potholes in the Huntington area was discussed.
Precinct 3 Commissioner, Robert Loggins, said he's committed to furnishing equipment and assisting the city of Huntington.
"I've assisted them every since I've been in office. If there is something we can do to help hem maintain their roads, we will," said Loggins.
Loggins says his crew will work on their off time and be paid by the city of Lufkin to work on the repairs. Several other Huntington area streets with pothole and drainage issues were discussed during the session
