CROCKETT, TX (KTRE) -

A Crockett woman is accused of running over a man with her car after an argument.

Alexis Wyatt, 28 of Crockett, is being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to the arrest affidavit, on June 9, Wyatt got into an argument with a man in the 1400 block of State Highway 7. The report states, Wyatt approached the man and struck him in the face several times causing the man to lose his glasses. The man also was reported to have injuries to his face.

The report continues and said the man shoved Wyatt away from him causing her to hit the ground. It's alleged that after the man helped Wyatt up and into her vehicle, she struck him with an unknown object causing him to fall, at which point she then drove over his leg, causing serious injury. The report also alleges that Wyatt tried to pull forward and strike him again, but the man was able to move out of the way.

The affidavit concludes saying Wyatt fled the scene and a family member took the man to the hospital. Wyatt bailed out of jail on a $20,000 bond.
