NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A Nacogdoches man has been arrested after officers said they found a large amount of Codeine in his vehicle.
Marcus Kegler, 34 of Nacogdoches, is being charged with a first degree felony possession of a controlled substance. According to the arrest report, Nacogdoches Police pulled over Kegler, in the 100 block of Sidney Road around 10:53 pm on June 16, who was driving a 2004 Nissan Passenger car for traffic violations.
The report stated the car did not have any insurance and was to be towed. While on scene officers said they found between 200-400 grams of suspected Codeine.
Kegler was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail. As of 11 a.m. on June 17, bail had not been set.
