EAST TEXAS (KTRE) - The remnants of Tropical Depression Bill continues to bring very heavy bands of rain throughout the area and that's creating some flash flooding problems in the area.

There have already been some reports of flooding in the Trinity area. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, several areas along SH 94, FM 2501 and FM 3154 are flooded. Lufkin DOT is reporting flooding at FM 841 near US 69 South, FM 2497 and FM 324 in Angelina County.

Flash Flood Warnings still continue into Angelina, Nacogdoches, southern Rusk and Panola counties until 12:30 p.m. As of 9:45 a.m., the Lufkin area has already seen 2.83" of rain since midnight, after already receiving a record 2.59" of rainfall Wednesday. Nacogdoches has seen 2.75" so far today.

Flash Flood Watches continue until 1 p.m. this afternoon for all of the area. Rainfall is expected to continue over the next several hours.
