NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A joint effort by numerous different East Texas law enforcement agencies resulted in an arrest that cleared at least nine burglary investigations and several misdemeanor cases.
Trevor Glenn Fuller, 25, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a third-degree felony possession of a controlled substance charge, three state-jail felony burglary of a building charges, a state-jail felony theft between $1,500 and $20,000, two Class B misdemeanor criminal mischief between $50 and $500 charges, and a Class B misdemeanor theft between $50 to $500.
Collectively, Fuller's bail was set at $44,500.
Sheriff Jason Bridges said that the investigation started two weeks ago after area law enforcement agencies saw a spike in burglaries and investigators noticed that all the burglaries seemed to be similar.
"Area agencies were able to identify Trevor Fuller who has confessed to numerous crimes that have occurred in the past two weeks," the press release stated.
Bridges said as a result of the arrest, the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office will be able to clear two burglaries that occurred in the Douglass area and another burglary that US Highway 59 South. All three burglaries were at businesses.
The sheriff's office is in the process of obtaining two more burglary of a building arrest warrants for Fuller. Bridges said the Nacogdoches Police Department, the San Augustine Police Department, and Angelina County will be filing additional charges as well.
Two more suspects were identified in the investigation, and more charges are pending, the press release stated.
