LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Signs of change are literally taking place at CHI Saint Luke's Memorial Lufkin campus. This week, a Nacogdoches-based company began the removal of old Memorial Hospital sings and erecting and installing new CHI-brand signs on the exterior of the medical center.
The Temple Cancer Center and some outpatient centers are already showcasing the new brand. The focus is now on the main medical buildings.
The installation of CHI signage this week is happening coincidentally the same week marking the one-year anniversary of CHI Saint Luke's Memorial acquisition of Memorial.
"So a lot of change has taken place this year, there's a lot more change to come. But right now the most visible change for people passing by here on Frank Street are the new signs,” said Yana Ogletree, CHI St. Luke's Memorial's System Director of Marketing Communications.
Ogletree said the exterior changes now aligns with the ministry-focused care underway inside the campus, which is part of the St. Luke's Health Network based in Houston.
For those traveling along West Frank the first week of July, they will soon see the new logo and name being erected on the medical tower and other parts of the exterior.
