ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Angelina County Sheriff's deputies pursuit of a man accused of theft of a four-wheeler Tuesday evening, ended with the suspect also being accused of having counterfeit money, too.

33-year-old David Antley Junior is behind bars Wednesday night facing two charges: Forgery and theft of property.

The sheriff's office received a 911 call from a man who recognized an All Terrain Vehicle on Antely's pickup because the man had repaired it.  So he knew it was stolen.

Captain Alton Lenderman said the caller continued to follow the pickup and kept law enforcement of his travel.
Deputies caught up with Antley as he pulled in to Brook's store to get gas.  That's where they cornered him and took him into custody.

"This time we verified that the four-wheeler was stolen," Lenderman said.  "As a result of this investigation, we located some more stolen stuff, and also there was some counterfeit money, on the person that we're investigating."

Investigators say they confiscated 22 fake $20 bills
