Stranded Canadian Could Be Coming Home Soon

by Jessica Cervantez

A Nacogdoches family is still fighting to get their loved one back home. Kari Wright's husband, Todd has been stranded in Canada for the past year and a half.

She continues to try and get him back across the border.

Todd Wright is a native Canadian. He became stuck in Canada after a family trip there, because of problems with his US citizenship.

But, Kari stays hopeful. Todd's visa has now been approved. They are just waiting for the consulate in Montreal to receive it. They are told it could take another six to eight weeks.

Kari tells the East Texas News that Todd called Monday morning to ask her and their kids to be his Valentine.
