NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office arrested a 61-year-old Cushing woman after she allegedly called 911, said she was going to "kill her husband," went next door, and pointed a gun at her neighbor and her neighbor's two children Thursday night.
Jerilene Brown is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a first-degree felony burglary with the intent to commit another felony charge and a second-degree aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. No bail amount has been set at this time.
According to the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office activity report, NCSO deputies were dispatched out to a residence in the 100 block of Elm Street in Cushing in regard to a 911 hang-up call in which the female caller said that she was going to 'kill her husband."
Sgt. Michael Davidson with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office said that while the deputies were on their way to the scene, they received another 911 call from the woman's next-door neighbor, who said that Brown had forced her way into her home and threatened to kill her and her children.
Brown allegedly pointed a .22-caliber semiautomatic pistol at the woman and her two kids and said, "I'll kill you and your two kids."
Deputies arrested Brown at the scene without further incident and took her to the county jail.
