A Lufkin man accused of answering a phone he had just stolen and giving away his location will find out his punishment on Tuesday.
It was in October of last year when police say Makio Houston and Cornelius Lewis robbed a teenager of his cellphone at the VFW Carnival. When someone tried to help track down the robbers, they called the stolen phone and we're told one of the men answered and said he was in the bathroom at the Smokey T's store. That helped police track down and arrest the duo.
Police say Houston was the one with the phone. Houston will learn his fate in a sentencing in Judge Bob Inselmann's court. He pleaded guilty to the crime back in March.
