NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police officers arrested a 39-year-old Garrison woman after she allegedly accused her husband of being involved in the murder of her relative many years ago and stabbed him with a small pocket knife late Monday night.
Jennifer Lynn Greer, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a second-degree aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. No bail amount has been set at this time.
According to the police report, the incident occurred at about 10 p.m. Monday night at a room at the Quality Inn, which is located at 3400 South Street. She allegedly told NPD officers that she stabbed her husband because she believed he was involved in the murder of her relative in Georgia many years ago.
Greer was arrested at the scene and taken to the county jail.
The wound was minor, and the victim refused medical treatment, the report stated.
