LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Multiple agencies served warrants near the Buffalo Wild Wings in Lufkin on Tuesday late afternoon.

Several customers inside of the restaurant at the time witnessed the shocking scene.

"I walked over to the window and looked outside and it looked like SWAT ans several different police agencies were surrounding a brown SUV," said witness Lisa Ridenour. "It was mass chaos. Never in my life have I seen something like that, it was like a scene out of CSI."

SWAT members with Lufkin Police, the Angelina County Sheriff's Office as well as the Texas Department of Public Safety were on scene with U.S. Marshal's Service officers.

While it is unknown at the time why or who the warrant was served to, witnesses say law enforcement reassured all of the customers, letting them know they were not in danger.

"It was really nice to see that we have people here, taking care of us, keeping us safe from criminals like that," Ridenour said. "Whatever he did, it must have been bad, It was really nice of police to see that we were safe. None of us ever felt endangered."

Davilyn Waltson with the U.S. Attorney's Office said she is currently waiting for more information to be confirmed before she can release any details to the public.
