The tough job of returning more than $200,000 in stolen property to the rightful owner is underway in Nacogdoches County.

The Sheriff's department back lot is filled with automobiles, travel trailers, go carts, even a large 'cigarette boat'. Authorities believe Rocky and Sheila Self stole the items, maybe as far back as 1995.

Deputy Mike Claude said, "A lot of the property we recovered the serial numbers had been obliterated or altered or completely taken off."

At least one owner has most of his stolen property back. Lots of tools and equipment had the 'A-1 Advantage' Equipment stamp.

Bill Ramsey earlier said how frustrated he was about being a crime victim. Ramsey never expected to get his property back, but he's glad he did.

The Selfs are also facing bank robbery charges for recent bank robberies in Lufkin and Etoile.
