SFA professors Dr.Jose Recinos and Dr. Miranda Recinos, along with 15 students, were on the bus when it crashed.

According to a Facebook message from Katie Long, one of the students involved in the accident, the bus was traveling along a mountain road when the driver took a sharp turn, causing the bus to flip.

“I have minor injuries, thankfully,” Long said. “Other people who were on the bus have more serious injuries, though.”

One faculty member has a broken leg and several of the passengers have broken ribs.

All parents have been contacted.
