Police report: Nacogdoches man tried to use knife during fight with brother

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Nacogdoches Police officers arrested a 17-year-old man late Sunday night after he allegedly got into a fight with his brother and tried to use a knife to stab him.

Jose Antonio Iraheta, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on a second-degree felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. His bail amount has been set at $10,000.

According to the police report, NPD officers responded to a disturbance call at a residence in the 2000 block of Pruitt Hill Circle at about 11:52 p.m. Sunday. Further investigation revealed that Iraheta brandished a knife and tried to use it during a fight with his brother.

No one was injured in the incident.

Iraheta was arrested at the scene and taken to the county jail.
