Affidavit: Nacogdoches man sexually assaulted woman

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police officers arrested a 40-year-man Saturday in connection to allegations that he sexually assaulted a female acquaintance at a home on Greenwood Street.

Morris Dewayne Custer II, of Nacogdoches, was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail on a second-degree sexual assault charge on Saturday, and his bail was set at $20,000. He has since been released from the county jail.

According to the arrest affidavit, Custer held the woman down by her neck and sexually assaulted her even though she told him to stop multiple times and screamed, "It hurts! Stop!"  NPD officers spoke to several witnesses who had been in the home when the alleged sexual assault occurred, and they also said they heard the victim tell Custer to stop.

After the sexual assault, the woman called the police, the affidavit stated.
