SAN FRANCISCO, CA (KTRE) - Facing off against the team from his home state, former Hudson Hornet Brandon Belt made a big statement, hitting two home runs in the San Francisco Giants' 3-1 win over the Houston Astros Tuesday night.
Batting from the No. 5 spot, Belt homered in the fourth and sixth innings and went 2-for-4 on the night.
The first baseman is batting .272 on the year and has 18 home runs.
The Giants conclude the two-game series against the Astros Wednesday at 2:45 p.m.
