DALLAS (AP) -

Spiders spin a spectacular site in North Texas. It's estimated thousands of spiders spun a massive communal web on a tree in the town of Rowlett, outside of Dallas.

The giant web has caught its share of mosquitoes and small flies at the Rowlett Lakeside Park South.

Experts say great amounts of flying food is likely what caused the predators to form the web. They add that they don't know how long the web and its eight–legged creators will remain.
