Huntington workshop fire under investigation

HUNTINGTON, TX (KTRE) -

Multiple fire departments responded to a fire at a residence workshop in Huntington Saturday evening.

A workshop belonging to a residence caught fire around 5 p.m. in the 3600 block of Gilliland Creek in Huntington. A four-wheeler lawn mower and welding machine were lost in the blaze.

There were bottles of propane, acetylene, gasoline and oxygen inside the workshop, which is said to be a total loss. Ora, Moffett, Fuller Springs and volunteer firefighters responded to the scene, as well as city of Huntington and Zavalla fire departments.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
