LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

The show of support for law enforcement in East Texas will extend through Tuesday.

Gipson Funeral Home in Lufkin will provide free meals to all Angelina County public servants.

The goal is to honor the men and women who make it their daily mission to protect and serve.

"They're going through a hard time right now. With all the news and other things against them, but we want to honor them and to appreciate what they do. They're out there for us and we just need to show our appreciation for them," said Allen Ware, manager of Gipson Funeral Home.

From hot dogs and chips to dessert, Tuesday's free lunch starts at 11 a.m. at Gipson Funeral Home in Lufkin. The meal is open to all first responders in Angelina County.
