Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week: Sheriff's office seeking wanted man

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (News Release) - Crime Stoppers wants to pay you for information that leads to the arrest of a man sought by Angelina County Sheriff's Office for three narcotics trafficking warrants.

As of September 07, 2015, East Texas law enforcement officers are looking for Samuel Joseph Rodriguez (AKA: Sammy), a 28-year-old Hispanic male who stands 5-foot-9 tall, and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He has a scar through his left eyebrow and tattoos on his right arm, hand, and calf.

A judge issued the three state jail felony arrest warrants August 31, 2015, following an Angelina County Sheriff's Office investigation into Rodriguez manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance.

According to jail records, Rodriguez has been arrested for weapons-, drug-, and assault-related offenses, including for the offenses of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, and aggravated assault against a public servant.
